The next day at school, Teddy joined Sweetheart, Patch, Melody, Chase, and Spinner at the lunch table. He took his seat next to Sweetheart. She leaned her head on his shoulder as he put his arm around her. She began to cry.

"Sweets, what's wrong," Teddy asked, letting his sensitive side show.

"I failed the driving test," she cried.

"Yeah she bombed," Patch blurted out.

Teddy breathed a sigh of relief, and whispered "Thank you."

"Yeah Sweetheart, last time I checked the sidewalk wasn't a passing lane," laughed Patch sarcastically.

"I went driving with Teddy and he said I did just fine," Sweetheart, along with everyone else looked Teddy's way. He gazed up at the ceiling and slowly turned his head to look the other way.

"You lied to me, Teddy. Why didn't you just tell me the truth?" she questioned.

"Maybe he thought you did do fine, after-all his driving isn't the best. I'm surprised he passed the driving test at all. You drive like a maniac on crack," commented Chase.

"No I don't. Plus I didn't want to tell you cause it would just hurt your feelings and I didn't want to make you cry. And I thought your dad could take you out to practice. Who knew Patch would bring up getting licenses the next day."

"Sweetheart, I can teach you to drive, if you'd like," Spinner offered.

"Sure, if you want to risk it," Sweetheart accepted much to Teddy's dismay. "Is that okay with you Teddy?"

"Oh, yeah, sure, if you want to," Teddy didn't want to tell her no. Then she'll assume that he doesn't trust her, which isn't the case at all. It's the guys he didn't trust.

"Great, after school will be your first lesson," Spinner smiled.

Teddy caught the look he gave her and sat back in his seat and crossed his arms. He hoped that no one else would notice his jealous side shining through, but what if something happens between the two of them? What would he do? How was he going to handle it?
