"So what's going on over here?" the gang curiously wanted to know.
"I was about to ask Melody to marry me," he smiled.
Gasps were heard among the friends, as they starred at the couple. Melody's jaw dropped as she brought her hoof up to her mouth. Chase brought out the ring and slipped it on her. Melody was so excited, she jumped up to hug him nearly knocking him off the chair.
"Yes, yes, I will," Melody answered.
"This is so romantic," commented Sweetheart, as she rested her head on Teddy's shoulder. The gang all congratulated the couple.
"Oh, I really miss spending time with all of you," Clover began getting all-emotional. The girls stopped for a moment, and thought of all the fun times they shared when they were younger.
"I've got a great idea!" Bonbon piped up, "Every month we should have a get together at someone's house. It could be like a tea party."
"That's a great idea. We could make cookies and gossip about all kinds of stuff," said Patch.
"I want in on this action, too." exclaimed Ace, "you girls always get to have all the fun."
"Okay, quit crying like a baby," Starlight smiled, "everyone can come," rubbing Ace's arm.
"The first party is going to be at my house," Melody annouced to the group.
Teddy and Sweetheart pulled into Melody's driveway, starring in disbelief at the size of her home. Sugardust slept in the back seat while the radio played lightly in the background.
"Her home is so beautiful."
"You mean her mansion is more like it," Teddy corrected her as her turned off the car.
Sweetheart gently woke up Sugardust, as Melody greeted them at the car.
"Oh she is sooo adorable, she must get it from her mother," Melody grabbed Sugardust from Sweetheart. Teddy glared at Melody, knowing she was just joking with him.
"Come in, come in," Melody walked them into her living room. Bonbon, Dandy, Patch, Ace, and Starlight and the twins were already there. Once the whole gang arrived, Melody gave them the grand tour. Since it was a warm day, they did a little swimming in her in ground pool.
"Chase is so lucky, he's marrying right into the rich life," Ace whispered to Teddy, as they sat in the hot tube together.
"Too bad you couldn't get in good with Melody when we were younger," laughed Teddy as he waved to Sugardust as she splashed in the pool w/ Sweetheart."
"I don't think he's doing it for the money, I really think he loves her," Teddy and Ace watch them acting all lovey-dovey with each other.
Ace shook his head, rolled his eyes and put his hooves behind his head, leaning back against the wall of the hot tube. He focused on enjoying this life of luxury, since he only gets to a couple times a year. Bonbon brought out some Long Island iced teas for them.
"This is the life," Teddy smiled at Bonbon.
