"Clover, are you coming to the Ice Cream Shoppe after school?" Sweetheart asked as her and Clover rummaged through their lockers gathering their homework.

"Oh not today, Dandy and I kinda have a study date."

"Study date," Melody over heard, "We all know that very little studying goes on."

"Well, I have an algebra test on Friday. I need to get at least a B+ or I'll fail the class. I need to study," explained Clover.

"Hi Dandy," Clover greeted him as he quietly joined the girls.

"Hey Clov, you ready?" Clover nodded. She watched as Melody slyly grinned as the began their walk to Clover's house.

Clover opened the back door and tossed her book bag on the chair. Dandy quietly sat down, looking through his bag for his algebra book. He watched Clover search for something to eat in the refrigerator.

"I'll be right back. I have to get something upstairs."

"Oh, I forgot my algebra book," Dandy frantically searched through his book bag. "Can I see your book?"

"Yeah, of course, just take it out of my bag," Clover swirled around and raced upstairs.

Dandy opened her bag and grabbed some books out. He noticed the book on top read 'My Journal'. A part of him knew it was wrong to open it, but the other part shouted 'Read Me!' Dandy looked toward the stairs to make sure she wasn't coming and he opened it. Then he began reading.

April 24th 'The Dream'

I had the strangest dream about Dandy, while I was sleeping in my history class today. He changed his image to a more hard core rock star like Chain Link. He looked so cool, laid-back, and funky, but with a cuter smile. It really turned me on. But, who, I'm I kidding, Dandy would never look like that, only in my wildest daydream.

After reading it, he immediately realized it was very wrong. He gathered up her books and stuffed them back in her bag. He definitely didn't want her to think he had seen her journal.

Clover bounced back down the stairs. She threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.

"Thanks for helping me study."

"No problem. I couldn't find that book!"

"That one," Clover pointed to the algebra book under his elbow.

"Oh, thank goodness you found it," Dandy felt real stupid after that.

Clover noticed that Dandy was a little jumpy ever since she came back in the room. Maybe he was a uneasy cause they were alone. He is very shy. But she looked past it and they went about studying.

"You did what?" Dandy had told Spinner that he read Clover's journal. Spinner couldn't believe that, cause Dandy had never done anything like this before.

"Read a couple pages in her journal," Dandy shamelessly hung his head.

"Does she know?"

"I don't think so, but I get the impression by what I read that she wants me to change my image," Dandy explained.

"What? Why?" asked Spinner wondering what he had actually read.

"She had a daydream I was a rock star."
