"Melody, Melody, can you come down here?" Her mom yelled up the steps to her daughter. All though Melody couldn't hear her cause she had her radio on too loud. She was really getting into Kiss 103.4, the new radio station in town. Melody was dancing around and trying to clean her room before her mom came upstairs and saw the mess.

Finally her mother got sick of screaming her name and decided to go upstairs and find out what the heck she was doing. When her mom got up to the top of the steps, she could her the music blasting. She gently pushed up Melody's bedroom door, and she saw an absolute mess.

"Melody, I thought we talked about keeping this room neat from now on?" Her mother was getting sick of telling her to straighten up. She could be a real slob sometimes.

"I'm sorry mommy," Melody smiled sweetly and walked over to give her mom a hug and tripped over some of her junk and fell into her mom's arms. "Maybe it wouldn't hurt to keep this place a little neater."

"That's what I told you. I need you to take the twins to visit Grammy at the nursing home today." Her mom had to work at the hospital and couldn't take them.

"But mom, I hate going there. It smells funny and the ponies there are all sick." Melody loved her Grammy, but hated going to the nursing home.

"Melody, you have to take them. They want to see her so you have to take them. Beside it would be nice of you to visit Grammy. She misses you girls and she gets lonely. Finish cleaning up this mess and go." Her mom left the room.

"Yes mommy. Oh great just what I wanted to do, waste my Saturday at the nursing home," Melody sighed and started cleaning again.

The twins were watching tv and were getting kind of antsy waiting for their big sister to clean up her room. So they decided to go up and bother her.

"Melody, are you down yet. We want to see grammy, now." Jing-a-ling peeked her head in the door of Melody's room.

"Yeah, please can we leave now," pleaded Ting-a-ling.

Melody knew how badly the twins wanted to go to see Grammy, so she put away the last couple of nick knacks on her shelf and put away some of her hair ribbons and bows. She turned around and smiled at her eager little sisters. "Come on, let's go see Grammy."

The twins smiled with delight, hugged her and raced down the stairs. They stood outside next to the car waiting for Melody to lock up the house. She turned around and saw them anxiously waiting for her. "This will really brighten up Grammy's day, won't it?" Melody asked the twins as they got in the car.

"Yes it will! That was the plan silly," Jing-a-ling buckled her seat belt cause she was seated in the front seat and is a little afraid when Melody drives.

"Why does she always get the front?" asked Ting-a-ling as she sat in the back seat and pouted.

"Listen you two, I don't want any fighting, or I'll turn this car around," Melody paused for a second, "Oh, great, I sound just like mother. Ting-a-ling, you can have the front on the way home."

"Ha ha ha," Ting-a-ling stuck her tongue out at Jing-a-ling. "I get it on the way home."

"You are definitely going to get something on the way home if you don't cut it out." Melody grew tryed of hearing them argue. The ten minute ride to the nursing home felt like an hour drive. But finally they pulled into the parking lot and the twins both stopped the fighting and were quiet.

"Come on Melody hurry up," Ting-a-ling ran down the hallway pulling along her big sister. "Slow down you girls," She let go and started to walk.

"Yes we get to ride on the elevators," Jing-a-ling ran after her twin.

"Girls please stop running," Melody was pretty embarrassed, but hey they were only kids. She started to walk faster to keep up with them. The last thing she needed was to loose the two of them. She tryed to forget the time she lost them at the Battle of the Bands.

Now the twins were out of sight. Melody got to the end of the hall way. She could only go left or right. "Which way did they go?" She looked both ways and picked left and started to run down the hall. One of the workers came out of one of the bedrooms with a tray of food for a patient. The two did not see each other and CRASH!!!! The try of food landed on the worker.

"I'm so sorry, I was just looking for my...." Melody looked up and saw a very adorable guy, who was now covered in hospital food.

"Who were you looking for?" asked the adorable guy.

"Oh, a my twin sisters," He helped Melody to her feet. Her face was bright red. She was sooo embarressed. Not only cause her sisters were running around screaming, but cause she totally slopped food all over a hot guy.

"I believe the pair went that way," He pointed to his right. "By the way, my name is Chase. Do you have a name?"

"A name? Ah, yeah, It's a Melody," She said as she made eye contact with the beautiful stranger.

"That's a pretty name. Well, Melody, maybe I'll see ya around." Chase turned and picked up the tray and the food off the floor.

Melody smiled and went to continue to look for the twins. She could not believe how she could have been so clumsy. This time she kept her head up as she walked through the hall. She could hear the twins. They had found Grammy's room.

She walked into the room and gave grammy a hug. Melody looked as she notice Grammy started to cry. "What's wrong?" She was a little concerned.

"Oh, this is such a pleasant surprise to see you three. I'm just extremely happy."

Just then Chase walked through the door with Grammy's dinner. "Well this certainly is a pleasant surprise," Melody thought as she eyed him up.
