Ace sat in algebra class trying not to think of the poem that Melody had just given him. He couldn't help but think of it. Afterall, he has been in love with Melody since they were in kindergarten.

Starlight was sitting at his table, "Hey honey, could I borrow a pencil?"

She broke his train of thought with her question. Without thinking he told Starlight to grab a pencil out of his book bag. When she reached into his bag she pulled out a pencil along with the poem.

Starlight began reading it, "Oh, Ace, is this for me?"

"Aaaa, Ummm, yeah," Ace didn't know what to say, but he definitely couldn't tell her that it's to him from Melody, World War III would break out.

"Hey Bonbon, look what Ace wrote me," Starlight leaned over to hand it to her.

"Noooo," Ace jumped up and grabbed the poem from Starlight. He crumbled it up and threw it on the floor.

"Ace, why did you do that? It was a beautiful poem?" Starlight questioned Ace's inappropriate actions.

"Star, I'll make it up to you, and it will be better then a silly little poem."

The bell rang as the class exited the classroom. Teddy noticed the crumbled piece of paper and picked it up and read it. "Wow, I can rewrite this and give it to Sweetheart. She'll think it's so romantic." Teddy slipped into the computer room at lunch time and quickly typed it up.

He slipped it into her locker and ran off to have some lunch.

Clover happened to see Teddy jet off down the hall as she approached her locker. She opened it up and there set a note. She opened it up and read it.

"Holy cow, Teddy is in love with me? Yuck, great Sweetheart will be devastated when she finds out," Clover stuck it into her purse.

Teddy, Sweetheart, Ace, Starlight, Melody, Buddy and Lancer all sat quietly eating their ice cream. No one wanted to say anything about the poem, cause of the fear of upsetting their loved one. Then Clover burst through the doors, right up to their table.

"Very funny, Teddy. Sticking that note in my locker?"

"What!!! I put that in Sweetheart's locker," Teddy protested.

"What did you put in my locker?" Sweetheart asked excitedly.

"Oh, good, this is what was suppose to be put in your locker, but I guess lame brain can't read the numbers very well," commented Clover as she threw the note on the table. Teddy glared at Clover.

"Oh Teddy, this is beautiful, look Starlight," Sweetheart handed it to her to read, but Lancer intercepted it.

"Teddy didn't write this, I did," replied Lancer.

"What?"

Starlight grabbed it, "I thought Ace wrote this for me?"

"What no, I wrote it for Brighteyes," Lancer tried to explain. Buddy couldn't help but laugh at all this craziness this silly little poem has caused.

"No, actually I thought Melody wrote it for me," Ace said.

"What???!!!" shrieked both Starlight and Melody.

"I thought you wrote this for me," Melody grabbed the poem and looked at Lancer. "That's what that waiter told me."

"Well, I guess that means Brighteyes never got the poem the first time," sighed Lancer.

"But if you think about it, it's actually pretty fun how. . " Ace looked over at Starlight and got the look of death. "No it isn't."

"Just write her another one," said Buddy.

"This will be the third poem I'd have to write. No, I think I'll just go tell her how I feel in person."

"Now's your chance," Ace pointed at the door as he noticed she just walked in.

Lancer gathered up his last little bit of courage he had left and walked over to her. The two of them sat down and ordered.

"Brighteyes, do you want to maybe go see a movie or something this weekend with me?" Lancer blushed.

"Lancer, are you asking me out?"

"Yeah, and you're not making it any easier beating around the bush like this," Brighteyes laughed and accepted his offer.
