"Do you really think he wants to beat you up on school property?" Ace peaked around the old oak tree.

"Well, what could he possibly want? Now stay back there. I don't want him to see you."

"Maybe he wants to apologize?"

"Yeah right," Clover shrugged. She noticed him coming. She began to grow nervous.

"Clover, I have something for you." Blake stood in front of her. Clover covered her face with her hooves. "What is your problem? All I want to do is return your Britney Spears cd I borrowed from you when we were going together."

"Oh, thanks. I was wondering what happened to it," Clover grabbed the cd from him.

Ace came out from around the tree, "I'll just pretend I didn't hear what cd you happened to have borrowed, now don't you think about picking on Clover again." Blake smiled at the two of them, then walked away.

Spinner took Bonbon to the hospital. When the doctor was done examining her, he confirmed that her ankle was indeed broken. All Bonbon could think about was what the psychic said, she would be doing something she loved, and next to cooking, Bonbon loved to eat.

Starlight went for a walk in the park after school. She couldn't shake the feeling that she got from reading the note. Was Ace really cheating on her? Why would he do that to her? Just as all these thoughts flooded her mind, she noticed Ace sitting on a park bench, with another girl. Starlight decided it was time to break his cheating heart.

"Hi Ace,"

"Oh, hey Star," Ace greeted her with a kiss, that completely threw her off guard. Ace glanced down at the pony who was sitting next to him. "I have to tell her."

"I knew it. You were the one who was lying to me."

"What? This is my cousin, " Ace introduced Ivy to her. "She's getting married. And she only wanted a couple ponies to know about it right now. I'm going to be in the wedding as one of the groomsmen, since I'm so close to the groom. Isn't that cool?"

"Oh, Oh, congratulations!" Starlight shook Ivy's hoof. She then whispered "So you're not cheating on me?" in Ace's ear.

"Yeah with my cousin. Starlight, you know me better then that." Ace smiled and kissed her as she informed them that she had to get to the Ice Cream Shoppe to help her mom out.

"Mom, I'm here. What do you want me to do?" Starlight asked as she entered the Ice Cream Shoppe. She looked around and didn't see her mother. Then as she went into the break room, she found her with a few other ponies.

"Starlight, dear," she sat down beside her mother, "I'm going to be selling the Ice Cream Shoppe."

Starlight gasped, "Why?"

"It's has been a lot of work and I'm not up for running two businesses anymore. I'm going to concentrate on running the beauty salon, since I love to do hair."

"So my mom had been lying to me," thought Starlight. She gave her mother a half smile.

"Does this mean I'm losing my job?"

"Oh, of course not. You're one of the best workers working here," commented on of the ponies who was buying the Shoppe.

"Chase, wait. We need to talk," Melody rushed down the crowded hallway after him.

"I'm sorry for the way I acted the other day. It was so stupid of me to over react like that," Melody apologized repeatedly.

"Mel, what hurts the most is that you don't trust me and afterall a relationship is based on trust," Chase told her.

"I know, and I'm trying," Melody hugged him.

Patch crept up to her house and peeked in the windows. She wasn't in the mood to see or hear what her birth mother had to say. As far as Patch was concerned she didn't want anything to do with her.

"Patch!" her mom had spotted her, "What are you doing?" She opened the door and ushered Patch inside.

"I know you're going to make me go in there and talk to her," her mom nodded, "But can you promise me you won't get mad at what I going to say to her."

Patch mustered up enough courage to enter into the living room and approach the pony who had given birth to her.

"So, did you know I played soccer? Did you know I have a boyfriend? How about the grades I get in school? Who are my best friends? What do I like and dislike?"

Her birth mother shrugged, "I don't know any of those answers."

"Exactly!" Patch paced back and forth in the room, "Why do you think that after seventeen years you can just come into my life and have a relationship. You weren't there for my first step, first soccer game, first crush, my first kiss. You can't make up that time we've lost. Obviously you didn't want to take the time to raise a child, and I want to say 'thank you' cause I have the best mom in the world."

Patch gave her mom a big hug. She could see the hurt in her birth mother's eyes, but she couldn't let those things go unsaid. It had been on her chest for a long time and she felt relief in getting it off.

The seven girls later met up at the Ice Cream Shoppe to discuss the daily gossip.

"So was the psychic right?" Asked Brighteyes curiously.

"She was right to an extent," Melody sipped her vanilla shake, "Chase and I are still together."

"But I'm sitting here with this broken ankle," Bonbon moaned.

"I finally got my Britney Spears cd back," Clover laughed.

"I think we all took what she said a little too seriously and let it get the best of us," smiled Starlight, "how could I've ever thought Ace would lie to me."

"I totally blow off my birth mother," Patch looked at all the shocked faces around her, "I was holding that in for a long time and it felt good to get it off my chest."

"I don't know about you girls, but I'm not ever going to talk to a psychic again," Clover stated as she took a bite of her ice cream sandwich.

"Why not?"

"I'm going to focus on one day at a time and not worry too much about the future."

The End
