Sweetheart went back to the table and sat down next to Patch, "So what are the boys up to?"

"They are on their way to the pool hall. They said we can't go cause we have no clue about playing pool."

"Whatever, I know how to play and I can do all those fancy moves, too." Brighteyes informed the girls on how she had played pool with her father. He had taught her all the fancy moves and she was really good at it.

"We should challenge them. They will never expect it. And it will show them that what ever they can do we can do, probably better" suggested Patch. She grabbed Brighteyes' arm and pulled her out the door, as the other girls followed.

"What are you girls doing here?" asked Ace as he stood face to face with Patch.

"I heard what you said about girls not knowing how to play pool. Care to make a little bet?"

"What am I going to win, cause you know that I will win this bet," Ace crossed his arms and awaited an answer. "This is going to be so easy, you might as well just assume that I will win."

"Don't be so cocky. How about a new soccer ball."

"Teddy forget the money you owe me, I'm going to get my soccer ball after all," Ace put his arm around Teddy and the two grinned. "He is going to be the lucky one to get humiliated first?"

The girls huddled up, "Okay, Brighteyes are you ready to win this? You better cause I don't have the money to buy that scum bucket a new soccer ball."

"Hey, if you are really good, how about you fake a couple hits and make them think you can't really play and then start playing good to win the game," Melody was getting into the moment.

"Great idea, Mel."

"Are you ladies ready, yet? We don't have all day," Ace grew impatient.

"You know you have to wait for them to get ready for a date. How would have thought you'd have to wait for them to start a game of pool." commented Chase, as he high-hoofed the boys.

"Good point, man," Spinner said.

"You are going to pay for that one, buddy," Melody wasn't to happy cause she knew that they were mainly referring to her. She couldn't help it, she just wanted to look nice, all the time.

"Yeah, I'm ready," Brighteyes grabbed a pool stick and held it upside- down. "I'm I first?"

"Maybe I'd better break," said Ace as he couldn't help but think he had a sure shot of winning.

"He broke the triangle but didn't sink any of the balls, "By the way, you sink the eight ball, you lose."

Brighteyes still had the stick upside-down, and proceeded to try and shoot that way. "Hey, turn the stick around," said Spinner.

"Hey, no helping the enemy," Teddy slapped Spinner on the arm.

Starlight and Patch sat at a table to watch "Boy, Brighteyes is really convincing me she can't play pool. Oh no, Starlight, I'm scared. Hold my hoof." Patch put her head down on the table.

Brighteyes sent the kue ball flying across the pool hall. Melody ducked as the ball just missed her head.

The boys started to laugh at the girls. "This is truly pathetic."

Ace took his turn and sunk a couple. Then it was Brighteyes' turn. "Okay, you have them convinced, now show um what you really got," Starlight whispered in her ear as she passed Brighteyes, on the way back to her table with a couple cokes.

Brighteyes sunk all the rest of the remaining balls on her turn except the 8 ball. Ace and the other boys stood in awe of what the had just witnessed.

"I can't believe that, you didn't even know how to hold the stick."

"Oh silly Ace, I know how to play, I just wanted you to think I didn't. Did it work?"

"You certainly had me convinced. Now where is my soccer ball Ace?" Patch crossed her arms and glared at him.

"Teddy, I need that money from our earlier bet."

"No can do buddy. Challenge them to something else. The playstation, they can't play that. They might chip their polish." Ace nodded at Teddy's suggestion.

"What do you say to that?"

"Bring it on. We are not afraid of you boys," Patch spread her arms apart and got in Ace's face.
