Teddy hesitated. He didn't want to go with these girls. But on the other hoof, he definitely didn't want to stay out on the highway. Looking at Buddy, he nodded 'okay'. So the boys got in the back seat of the mustang.

"So where do you boys want to go?" asked Lilac.

"Look, we really just want to use your phone again."

"What are you going to do for us?" asked Marina as she peered into the back seat at them.

"Hey, I've got a girlfriend!"

"Really, how long have you been going out with her?"

"We've known each other ever since kindergarten."

"I just broke up with my girlfriend."

"Why?"

"She's was crazy. it was too much for me to deal with," Buddy nodded at Teddy.

"Oh, you poor baby. Are you going to need some comforting?" smiled Lilac.

"Yes, yes I do," Buddy winked at Teddy

"Please can we just use the phone again?" begged Teddy.

"Okay, we'll let you use the phone again, if you come to Club 41 with us."

"What's there?" asked Buddy.

"It's a dance club."

"I love to dance. Sure we'll go."

"Buddy are you crazy," Teddy muttered under his breathe, "But we're only seventeen, don't you have to be at least eighteen to get in there?"

"Don't worry, we got you covered," winked Lilac as they pulled into the parking lot.

After an unsuccessful search for Patch, Sweetheart returned home for some dinner. She figured that maybe she had missed his phone call.

"Mom did Teddy call?" she asked as she sat down at the kitchen table.

"I just got home a little while ago, did you check the machine?"

Sweetheart darted into the living room and saw the little light blinking indicating there was a unheard message. As she listened to the message, she had quite a few mixed emotions. Plus she wanted some answers as to where he was. Sweetheart listened, one more time to the message, so she could write down the number.

The girls immediately jumped out of the car. Teddy and Buddy caught up with them at the door. The big guy at the door was Storm. He decided who was allowed in and who wasn't. He let the girls pass, so naturally the two boys going to follow. Storm stopped Teddy. Teddy gulped.

"Hey Storm, relax, these guys are with us," Lilac assured him.

Storm nodded at her and let them in. As they passed, Storm glared at the boys.

"That guy was scary," commented Buddy, "he gave me the creeps."

"Come on, let's dance," Marina grabbed Teddy's arm and Lilac followed with Buddy.

"I've got a girlfriend."

"I asked you to dance, not get married."

After a couple dances, the four ponies sat at a table. Silence plagued the table. Sweet smiles were exchanged back and forth between them. Teddy nervously looked at the clock over the bar. The silence was broken when the waiter approached. The girls decided to order some drinks.

"Are you sure you guys don't want anything to drink?"

"No thanks," Teddy had other things on his mind, like did Sweetheart get his message.

"I could go for a beer," smiled Buddy.

"Buddy, I don't think that's a good idea. I know your hurting, but drowning your sorrow in alcohol isn't the answer," Teddy whispered.

"What are you, my mother," Buddy proceeded to order a beer.

While the group sat at their table drinking and laughing. Teddy was about to leave to go to the bathroom when he heard the cel phone ring. Teddy knew it was probably Sweetheart. She got the message finally.

"Hello," laughed Marina.

Sweetheart was so nervous when she heard another girl's voice. What was going on?

"Hello? Anyone there?" Marina asked.

"Um, yeah it's Sweetheart, is. . ."

"Sweetheart, It's Teddy," Teddy grabbed the phone from Marina, "thank goodness you got my message."

"What's going on?"

"I can't explain to much, cause it is so loud in here, but could you get Patch, Lancer, and his credit card and drive down to Club 41. Buddy and I will be waiting for you in the parking lot."

"Isn't that an eighteen and older dance club? How did you get in?"

"It's such a long story I promise to explain everything when you get here. And tell Lancer that we. . .uh, Buddy really owes him big. Thanks so much, love you, bye!"

Sweetheart hung up and called up Lancer. She called his cell, cause he always carried it on him. Hopefully he would be willing to do this one 'little' favor for Teddy.

"Teddy, wants me to drive where?"
