"Ace, that winning goal you scored in the last five seconds was unbelievable," exclaimed Buddy.

"I really surprised myself."

Brighteyes sat with her Lancer, Ace, Starlight, and Buddy at the Ice Cream Shoppe. She had a depressed look on her face and didn't really join in their conversations.

"Is the only thing you guys talk about is soccer? Can't we talk about something else?" Brighteyes was becoming very annoyed.

"Brighteyes, we just played an amazing soccer game."

"I know you did but. . . "

"But, what?" asked Starlight with a concerned look on her face.

"Nothing,"

"Why, what do you want to talk about?"

"Okay, I have noticed that lately my father has seemed to be very lonely. I think he needs someone in his life, like a girlfriend. I mean we were watching a chick flick the other day and he started crying. It was so sad." It has been five years since Brighteyes's mom died, she thought that maybe he needed to start dating again.

"And what do you want to do about it, fix him up with someone?" asked Ace.

"Exactly," smiled Brighteyes, "I going to play match-maker and find my father the perfect girl. I'll catch you guys later."

Brighteyes walked up to the counter. She decided to order a sundae-to-go to try and cheer her dad up.

"Can I get a mint chocolate chip with a banana topping," Brighteyes ordered as her friends krinched at the thought of the sundae, but that was her dad's favorite.

Just then a beautiful older looking pony walked in. Her long foam green silky hair caught Brighteyes' attention. To her surprise the beautiful stranger ordered the same exact sundae Brighteyes had ordered for her father. The gang looked at her and Brighteyes smiled and ran back over to the gang.

"She could be someone for my dad."

"Well what are you going to do, ask her if she's single?" asked Starlight.

"Please I could do better then that," Brighteyes walked right back over to her, "So are you married?" The stranger was caught off guard by the sudden question, but she smiled at Brighteyes and they began to talk for a few minutes.

"Her name is Morgan and she is perfect for my dad. She works as a preschool teacher, loves to go on long bike rides and watch the sunset." Brighteyes called Starlight to fill her in on what she had found out earlier about the stranger.

"How do you plan on getting them together?"

"Well, my plan is to have my dad meet me at the Ice Cream Shoppe. She goes there everyday for that sundae. When she shouts out her order he'll notice her. Then I'll just let the thump factor do the rest."

"Thump factor? What's that?"

"It's how hard your heart thumps when Mr. Right enters the room."

"Where do you hear this?"

"Melody."

"It would figure," laughed Starlight as she hung up the phone.
