Ace and Teddy's jaws dropped. They could not believe what their wives had just said to one of their best friends. They watched Melody run off. The boys quickly ushered the reporters out the door, so they couldn't get the story they wanted.

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe I said that to her," Sweetheart stood with her hoof over her mouth, "How stupid and insensitive. I feel awful."

"So do I, maybe we shouldn't have said it that way. We better find her."

Starlight and Sweetheart turned to their husbands, who inturn nodded. The two girls ran off to find Melody to apologize.

"Look, I told you. We are going to win the case next week. The guy couldn't spell. The court will definitely rule in our favor. Now, please, don't call me again until tomorrow," Brighteyes closed her cell phone and stuck it in her purse.

Brighteyes had her hair done up in a bun. She adjusted her reading glasses. She wanted a sophisticated look, since she became an attorney six years ago.

"Brighteyes!"

"Clover!" they both hugged.

"Who was on the phone?"

"Aren't you nosy," laughed Brighteyes, " I have court case next week. Imagine spelling mom with two o's."

"Lancer, watch this," Patch and Lancer were watching Brighteyes and Clover from across the room. Patch proceeded to shoot a spitball and it hit Clover's cheek.

"Owww, who did that?" Clover rubbed her cheek.

"Relax Clov, it's only a spit ball. It's not that painful," laughed Patch as her and Lancer joined them.

"So, judging from the way your dressed, I'd say your not a house wife like Sweetheart?" Patch asked Brighteyes, even though she already knew the answer.

"No, I'm an attorney to be exact."

"Married?"

"No."

"Seeing anyone?"

"Not at the moment, you?"

"I still can't find my Mr. Right."

"Patch, you're way to picky."

"I happen to be a stickler for things like personal hygiene and an athletic background."

Clover rolled her eyes, "So Lancer, I hear you create the tiny rice babies and they have made you a multimillion dollar company."

"I don't want to sound conceited, but yes I did. Who would have thought that stuffed animals filled with rice would become so popular," the three girls giggled.

"I have a collection of all of the rice babies that are out so far," Clover excitedly told Lancer.

"That is what your life has come to, collecting tiny rice babies," laughed Patch, "So what have you been up to?"

My life isn't as exciting as Lancer's. I work in retail at the Shine and Sparkle store."

"No dancing?"

"I tried out for one of Britney's dancers, but I didn't make the final cut."

"That sucks. Hey what about one of Mel's dancers. I know she'd definitely pick you," suggested Brighteyes.

"Look there's Spinner and Dandy," Patch waved for them to come over and join them.

"Hi guys, I've got some great news. Ginger and I are having a baby. We just found out two days ago," Spinner excitedly told his friends.

Spinner and Ginger met in their second year of college at PLU. The two married right out of college. All their friends were at the wedding. He's an architect and she'd an interior decorator. They've been trying to have a baby for a while now.

"Congratulations!"

"Where is Ginger tonight?"

"She got called in to work on a special project. She tried to get out of it. I know she really wanted to see you all again."

"Just tell us when and we'll be there," Patch assured Spinner. She and Ginger had become really good friends while they were at college.

"And Dandy, how's your wife?" Clover turned to Dandy to find out how his marriage was going.

"I wish I could tell you that we're as happy as Spinner, but that's not the case. Tiara and I are getting a divorce."

"Oh Dandy, I'm so sorry," Brighteyes gave Dandy a hug, "What happened?"

"With her traveling all the time, it's really put a strain on our marriage. She always wants to work and it seems she never wants to be home with me. She is the one who wants the divorce. It's pretty tough being apart."

As the five ponies brought each other up to date on their lives, Clover noticed Melody run by looking rather upset.

"Was Melody crying?"
