"If anyone should be crying, it's us. Just thinking about all the money she has, makes me want to cry," commented Patch.

Melody felt so embarrassed. Here she was, twenty-seven years old and crying over a misunderstanding between her friends. She sat down at a table in the corner away from all the other ponies. Sitting there for a few minutes, trying to clear her head.

"Is this seat taken?" Melody looked up and saw Chase standing in front of her.

She quickly tried to wipe her tears, but it was too late, he had already saw them. Sitting next to each other, looking into each other's eyes it felt like nothing had changed. She wondered if Chase felt the same way, but didn't have the nerve to ask.

"I never thought I'd get to sit with the most popular pony in all of ponyland," Chase joked as she sat down in the chair next to her.

"What are you talking about, we've always sat together," Melody couldn't help but smile. Deep down she believed she still loved him.

"Well that was before you became famous. You know what?" Melody looked up into his eyes, "I always knew that one day you'd be a famous musician," Melody couldn't help but smile at his comments, "So how is life on the road?"

"It's so exciting. All the different places and ponies to meet."

"So why were you crying,"

"This is going to sound a little juvenile," Chase moved a little closer, "Starlight and Sweetheart made a pretty nasty comment about how we're not friends anymore. I don't understand why they would say something like that. I send all my friends postcards and concert tickets."

"Maybe they miss seeing the old Melody?"

"What are you talking about?" Melody curiously asked.

"You know the Melody behind all the glitter. The Melody we would hang out with and talk to face to face."

Melody thought about that for a moment. She hadn't really actually seen and talked to the gang in years. She always thought about it but never acted on it. Before she knew it, days turned into years and now they were at their ten-year reunion.

Chase leaned in and kissed Melody. She was caught off guard, but continued to kiss him back. It was like one of those fairy tale moments, that Starlight and Sweetheart just happened to witness.

"I knew he was the reason she showed up here tonight."

"I think it's so romantic, like a fairy tale," smiled Sweetheart, as Chase and Melody both looked up at their friends.
