"Yes, you, a what's your name? Grab her application for me."

"Brighteyes."

"Beautiful name. You have such perfect qualities and features," the agent looked her over, "perfect posture and smile, twinkling eyes, the sophisticated look, long silky hair, not to mention acting abilities."

Brighteyes blushed to all of his nice compliments. For a minute she had forgotten the real reason she was there in the first place. She had never been the beautiful one, always the smart one out of her friends. Her thoughts were soon shattered when she turned to her left and saw the look of disappointment on Bonbon's face. As soon as the tears began streaming down her face, Bonbon raced out to the parking lot.

"I'll have to think about it," Brighteyes finally answered after watching Bonbon's dreams shatter right in front of her.

"Here's my card," Brighteyes hesitantly took the card, slipping it and an application into her purse, and then proceeded to go after Bonbon.

Brighteyes burst through the doors and found Bonbon lying on the hood of her car starring up at the sky. She was obviously heartbroken. Brighteyes couldn't help but feel responsible. She joined Bonbon on the car. Bonbon turned on her side so she couldn't see Brighteyes.

"Bonbon, I'm so sorry," Brighteyes apologized.

"You're sorry. I'm so embarrassed and humiliated. Are you going to do it?" asked Bonbon as she turned to face Brighteyes.

"Model? I don't know."

"You're actually considering it," Bonbon hopped off the hood and stood by the passenger door, "Just open the door. I want to go home."

The whole drive home was silent. It was completely opposite of the drive down there. It was like two strangers sitting in a bus stop together. When they arrived at Bonbon's house, she jumped out of the car and slammed the door. She didn't even say 'good bye'.

Bonbon ran up to her room, slammed the door, and fell onto her bed in tears. Luckily no one was home when she got there. She was in no kind of mood to explain what happened.

Brighteyes arrived at her house and decided to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for a snack. She poured a glass of milk and sat down. Then she pulled out the application and brochures to look at a bit closer. Without really thinking it threw, she began to fill out the form. A couple days later she decided to mail it.

"Hey Brighteyes, what's ya mailin'?" Brighteyes jumped as she heard her name.

"Clover, you startled me. That was a..a..bill for my dad."

"Oh, any ways, I heard what happened."

"Bonbon hasn't returned any of my calls. She hasn't even spoken to me since the orientation. Have you talked to her?" Brighteyes wanted to get as much information as she could out of Clover on their way to the Ice Cream Shoppe.

"Yeah, she pretty much said she hates your guts and never wants to talk to you again."

"Oww, that hurts. All because they wanted me to be a model. That is unbelievable," they enter the Ice Cream Shoppe and spotted Bonbon sitting at the counter talking to Starlight and Sweetheart.

"I've got to talk to her," Brighteyes was determined to patch things up with Bonbon.
