"I'm famished," Bonbon ran straight for the fry cart for some french fries. She soon joined her friends as they were all wondering where they were headed next.
"Want to ride on the ferris wheel?" Clover pointed in that direction. The girls all agreed to go.
As the exited the ride, Melody noticed a sign that read, "Curious about future? Talk to a Psychic!"
"What do you girls say? Want to know our futures?" Melody asked as she pointed to the sign.
"No way," protested Brighteyes, "It's all a big scam. Those ponies can't really predict the future.
"I'm taking Brighteyes' side," Sweetheart blurted out, "I'd rather not find out what is in my future and just be surprised."
"You two are no fun. Who's in?," The other four agreed to go. Melody walked in through the beaded curtain. Looking around the dimly lit room, she began to grow nervous.
"Come, sit my child," Melody swiftly turned around and saw Miss Chloe sitting at a table with lit candles and a huge crystal ball in front of her. She gulped and sat down. "So what would you like to know?"
"Um, what's in store for me in the future?"
Gazing into the crystal ball, Miss Chloe looked at the future for Melody. "I see you have a pretty serious relationship with your boyfriend."
Melody nodded, as she continued to watch Miss Chloe's facial expressions. "What was she looking at in that crystal ball? Is my future that bad?" she thought.
"My dear, a jealous streak will destroy your relationship in a single act. Loneliness will consume you and you may sink into a depression."
Melody didn't say a word, she bolted out of there in tears. The gang wondered what happened in there, but she assured them everything was fine. Patch decided to go in next. She wasn't the least bit scared of what this psychic was going to tell her.
"A secret will be revealed to you next week. A secret that you have wanted to find out your whole life."
"A secret, well, what is it?"
"All I can tell you is that you might not be too happy when the secret is revealed."
"Oh, great," Patch mumbled as she left.
It is now Starlight's turn to talk to the psychic. She takes her seat in front of Miss Chloe.
"Someone very close to you is lying to you."
Starlight decided she had heard too much. The last think she wanted or even expected to hear was something horrible. The only pony she suspected that would be lying to her was Ace or Melody, since it has happened before. Starlight exited through the beaded curtain.
Bonbon steps in cautiously and looked around, "Come in, come in, Bonbon is it?"
Bonbon gulped, "How did she know my name?"
"Oh no, I see you doing something you love and there is an accident."
"What do you mean an accident?"
"Exactly what I said, you are doing something you love to do and there will be an accident."
Bonbon jumped up, running for the door. All she could think about was how she would have to give up cooking, since that was her favorite thing to do.
Clover was the last one to enter. She saw how her friends looked so freaked out after having seeing Miss Chloe. But she decided to go in anyhow.
"I see someone from your past who will be coming back to see you. I can't tell who exactly this pony is, but you will be greatly affected by their return."
This really freaked Clover out, cause she has had a lot of past boyfriends who were abusive. What if one of them comes back to see her?
After Clover joined the group, all five friends just stood there in silence, none of them knowing what to say to the other. None of them wanting to tell the others what Miss Chloe had told them.
