"What the hell were you doing?"
"Melody, relax, she just wanted to know if I did the history homework that was assigned over the weekend."
"Oh, yeah right."
"It's true, I did the homework, but I wasn't going to let her copy it." Melody rolled her eyes at him, thinking the he wasn't being honest. "Melody, I'm getting sick of this jealousy you have. I have not and will not cheat on you with anyone. So until you can control your jealousy and realize that, I don't think we should see each. I can't deal with it."
Chase walked off leaving Melody alone. Was Miss Chloe right? She's letting her jealousy drive away the only pony she ever really loved. Now that Chase threatened to break up with her cause of the jealousy, she began to feel depressed.
Starlight rummaged through her locker looking for her notebook. She sat down in her class and noticed she grabbed Ace's by mistake, since they share a locker. So she decided to write him a note. Starlight flipped open the notebook and found a folded note. Being nosy, she opened it up and began to read it. She thought maybe it was for her.
The note read, "Ace, I can't wait to get together. I have a big surprise for you. Don't tell Starlight about us, I don't want her to know just yet. Love ya,"
Starlight's heart dropped to her stomach. Ace was the one that was lying to her, just like the psychic said. She slumped down in the desk feeling sick.
Clover was at her locker getting her books for her next class. Sweetheart's locker is next to hers so they were talking about what they did over the weekend.
"Oh, great. Here comes Blake, one of the abusive jerks I used to date," Clover saw her ex walking down the hall right toward them. "I wonder what he's smiling about."
"Hey Clover," Blake walked right up to her, "I have something for you. Meet me under the oak tree after school."
Clover gulped and watched him walk away with a smirk on his face.
"What do you think he wants?" Sweetheart looked concerned.
"I don't know. All I know is I'm not going alone. I'm going to find Ace and have him come with me, just in case I need someone to kick Blake's ass."
Spinner sat on the couch at Bonbon's house. He was watching an interesting tv show about, what else, sports. Bonbon entered the room and sat next to him, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey, do you want to make a pizza. Homemade pizzas are so good. We could put everything on it."
"Cooking, baking, accident," thought Bonbon. She had to think of an excuse and fast. "How about we go out to eat?"
"If you insist," Spinner helped her up off the couch.
They decided to go to the ice cream shoppe. They just recently added hamburgers and hot dogs to the menu. Bonbon ordered their food as Spinner got their table. Bonbon was carrying the tray back and with her other hoof, she was eating the french fries. She didn't notice the sign that read "Caution, Slippery when Wet" and she whipped out.
"Are you okay?" Spinner rushed over to her side.
"I think my ankle is broken, Bonbon held her ankle.
"Mom, I'm home," Patch called to her mother as she entered the living room when she returned home from soccer practice. She saw her mom sitting with another pony on the couch.
"Patch, honey come in here for a minute. There's someone I want you to meet. This is your birth mother."
"My birth mother," stammered Patch, as she dropped all her soccer gear and ran back out the door.
Melody, Starlight, Patch, and Clover all met up at the Ice Cream Shoppe. They were all sitting, looking depressed, as they believed that their lives were ruined since they went to Miss Chloe. Brighteyes and Sweetheart soon joined them.
"Why the long faces?" Sweetheart sat down next to Melody.
"Chase broke up with me," Melody put her head on Sweetheart's shoulder and started crying.
"Why?"
"Cause I'm a jealous fool," She cried.
Sweetheart put her arm around Melody. She looked around the table at all her friends who looked so sad.
"And what about the rest of you?"
"Ace is cheating on me. That jerk."
"Well is better then getting beat up by one of your exes. Blake wants to meet me after school. He probably wants to finish me off."
"Spinner told me Bonbon broke her ankle."
"My birth mother came back."
"She came back? What did she want?" questioned Starlight.
"I really don't know. As soon as my mom told me who she was, I took off. I didn't even say anything to her."
"Didn't I tell you girls not to mess with the future," Brighteyes stood at the head of the table and just shock her head.
"You really don't have to rub it in," Patch sneered.
